Kurzweil's 76 note PC3LE7 combines the amazing sound quality and performance control features of the enormously successful PC3 with a new streamlined, intelligent user interface, providing an interactive experience that is bound to inspire creativity. Under the hood, the PC3LE features the same groundbreaking chip technology that has made the PC3 the most talked about keyboard in recent years. All of the sounds are included - the famous Kurzweil grand piano, vintage electric pianos, Clavinets and Mellotrons, dazzling orchestral and strings collections, stunning VA virtual analog synthesizers, KB3 organs, realistic basses, drums, guitars, percussion and horns, General MIDI, plus nearly 200 new programs developed specifically for the LE; over 1,050 programs in all. These programs take advantage of our V.A.S.T. synthesis engine, using pristine samples paired with detailed programming of literally hundreds of synthesizer and effects parameters. Whether it's the rosin of a bowed string instrument, the resonant harmonics of a piano's damper pedal, or the thumps and squeaks of an electromechanical keyboard, we've done our homework and provided a level of detail and realism that can only be found in a Kurzweil. Which means you can focus on the important business of making music. The PC3LE7 comes equipped with over 700 onboard effects chains from which to choose, all with real-time controllers already assigned to relevant parameters. With world class reverbs that decay into complete silence, warm, classic sounding phasers, flangers and choruses, and burning, saturated distortions, you'll have everything you need to make your music sound like a polished, finished product from the outset.

Kurzweil PC3 76 Note Performance Controller and V.A.S.T. Workstation Keyboard, Semi Weighted Keys, Black Overview

The PC3 series from Kurzweil is built on our Kurzweil custom chip technology. The PC3 chip allows for more polyphony, more effects power, seamless effects switching, superb sound quality and a long list of exciting new features. The PC3 model is a 76-note semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and aftertouch sensitive keys. It includes a huge array of sounds, a synthesis engine, all coupled with a comprehensive sequencer. Building on the success of the K Series, the PC3 includes Kurzweil's Triple Strike Grand Piano, KB3 Mode, along with basses, drums, guitars, synthesizers for every genre, and over two hundred fifty string section and orchestral programs. The PC3's set up mode includes 48-step programmable patterns for both pitch and velocity per zone (allowing for up to 16 patterns to playback simultaneously), along with a collection of modes, scales and pre-programmed patterns. The unlimited track sequencer with 1536 PPQ resolution and superior effects processing allows the controller to function as a total music production DAW workstation. A USB interface and an xD card port further enhance the functionality of the PC3. A new memory allocation scheme means that the number of user ID slots for programs, songs, setups and QA banks has been expanded into the thousands. New V.A.S.T. algorithms have been added to the PC3's synth engine: Saw and Square Hard Sync Oscillators, Triple Saw Oscillator, and an algorithm which allows the signals from two layers to be mixed together with a third layer. The PC3 desktop editor for Mac and PC from SoundTower makes it even easier to tap the power of the PC3's Dynamic V.A.S.T. synthesis architecture. The editor can be easily downloaded free of charge at the Kurzweil Music Systems website (www.kurzweil.com).
